Mmmm. Spackling goodness. Here's another glimpse at our painfully slow renovation process - Chris filling the walls with spackling last Wednesday night. Something that has been a constant source of pain for us is that our house is an ex-rental. An abused ex-rental. It needs a whole lot of love! The walls in our kitchen/meals area are COVERED with holes and dings and huge plaster faults that the previous owners chose to just ignore and paint over. And though the slow-ness of this process is frustrating and overwhelming to me, thank goodness Chris is a perfectionist. He wants to do it right, which means the process is so drawn-out... but we'll never have to do such a huge fix-it job ever again. I married a good and patient man!!!
I'm an Aussie wife who loves flowers, colours and good coffee. I married a Californian computer-nerd who is the love of my life! Together we created the cutest baby in the universe and I spend my days taking care of him in our always-a-work-in-progress little home. Life is good. Really really good.
